The parallel string box monitors the currents in the photovoltaic modules and can detect faults immediately. The device is made of UV resistant polyester resin and provides an IP65 protection grade. The device has a general circuit breaker of the type ABB T1D 160PV to cut off the connection of the photovoltaic field to the inverter and can connect up to 16 wires (with a maximum input current of 9A each). Signals and alarms are sent if there are current faults with respect to the thresholds set in the configuration because they are compatible with the SunVision monitoring software program. The communication solutions consist of an RS485 port (supplied as standard), an optional slot for a NetMan Plus PV Ethernet card and analog inputs for the start of the environmental sensors (temperature, radiation and wind).
